One Piece Chapter 579

zhadraniSo. I've said a few times in the past that I didn't know if I'd keep reading OP after Ace's death. And I still haven't read that chapter, nor do I ever anticipate doing so. Thinking about Ace being dead still makes me feel sick to my stomach and my heart hurt, so. I just avoid thinking about it.
That said, I've found myself continuing to read. Because as much as I still love Ace, there are other people in One Piece whose fates I'm pretty damn invested in as well. People who we haven't seen in a while, and whom I yearn to see again, as well as people who are on the battlefield right now, fighting for their lives. Not to mention the mysteries whose answers are being dangled before us.
So. Onto this week's chapter.

Smoker and Tashigi and something's wrong with everyone, they're all caught up in the war to end the age, and it seems unnatural--!

Holy gods, there is just no way to express my love for Shanks in text. ODA YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARD, I HAD NO IDEA HE WAS GOING TO SHOW UP FFFFFFFF AND BEN HOLDING HIS GUN ON KIZARU YAAAAY We know that haki can be put into the tip of an arrow, so obviously it can be put in bullets too or Kizaru would be laughing in Ben's face right nowwww
But Blackbeard gave Shanks his scar when Shanks wasn't even underestimating him, and he has Whitebeard's power now, and all of the other gathered powers DDD: Can Shanks really end the war???
