So, wow, HBO greenlit a pilot for A Game of Thrones! Even though I know it'll probably be like, a bajillion years before it actually comes out, and that there's no guarantee that it'll be picked up or ever see the light of day, I am still highly excited!! GRRM himself said the pilot script was awesome and stayed very true to the books! So, now all that could go wrong is the casting, directing, special effects, sets, costumes...:( Why must I depress myself?

But, no! It'll be freaking AWESOME, I'm sure! Hopefully! Those books are some of my favorite, EVER; they're, like, almost the only fiction books that made it through the hassle of packing and that I made sure to bring to school with me. (Those and Ella Enchanted, because I am a giant dork and Ella is my comfort reading XD).

I can't wait for this! Well, I'm even more psyched about A Dance With Dragons (mid-2009?!?! WHYY?! KHAAAAAAAN!), but still!
